Welcome Visitors!

What's a typical Sunday service like?

If you're coming for the Sunday morning service at 10:00 a.m. here's what you can expect when you arrive.
(If you're under the weather, you can also watch our services live-streamed on Facebook or YouTube.)

"Welcome to God's House!"

Hospitality begins in the parking lot, as you are greeted by our parking coordinator, and it continues as you enter the building. Our connection team will greet you and the ushers will welcome you as you enter the Sanctuary.

If you have children with you, there are options for Children's Church (after the Children's Message); activity bags are available for children who stay with their parents in the sanctuary.
(You can find more information about Children's Church and our Youth Fellowship here.)

A typical service will last about 60-75 minutes. If you've attended worship at a United Methodist church before, you'll find our services to be quite familiar. And music is a big deal to Methodists! Each week we alternate between our traditional worship service (featuring the Moller Organ and Chancel Choir) and our contemporary praise service (featuring our Praise Band).

The broader picture of our worship service may be summarized as follows:
  • Gather --  prelude music and announcements,  call to worship and opening song, followed by a short Children's Message and offertory prayer.
  • Word -- scripture passage and sermon.
  • Table -- Holy Communion (first Sunday of month).
  • Sending Forth  -- edification for living out the Good News in the world.

After the service, join us in the Grand Foyer for refreshments and conversation!
