Prayers and Squares Quilting Ministry
Can you feel a prayer, and be surrounded in its warmth?
LUMC's quilting group meets every third Tuesday of the month 9:30AM - 12:00PM. Their mission is to create prayer quilts for those who are experiencing health problems or other personal challenges. Each quilt is sewn with love and prayer. The quilts are then dedicated during worship; afterwards, those in attendance are invited to stop by the table in the lobby, tie a knot, and say a prayer. The recipient is literally covered in prayers for God's healing and comfort!
If you would like to join the quilting group, or request a prayer quilt for yourself or a loved one, please contact the LUMC office at 661-942-0419. We also welcome donations of fabric, batting, and other supplies needed for quilt production.
